About Tainted Tea
Tainted Tea is an electronic literary magazine that publishes horror fiction, poetry, and art. Tainted Tea believes that horror is an emotion experienced by everyone and showcases work that explores fear, shock, or tension in unexpected places.
At Tainted Tea, we feel that many people have the wrong idea about horror. Horror isn't just blood and guts splattering everywhere or big-breasted women being chased by masked men. Nor all horror writers like Stephen King.
Horror is an emotion felt by everyone. No matter how brave people think they are, everyone is afraid of something.
Horror
is about experiencing that fear. And fear can be found anywhere: in the
school hallways, with the ice cream truck, even in someone's own home. Tainted Tea aims to show this. We also support aspiring macabre writers and artist through online workshops, contests, and a chance to get their first publishing.
Tainted Tea brings a new, smart look to the horror genre. The ezine
was founded in March 2009 by Goddard College student, Shane R. Toogood,
and Kris Fossett, a recent university graduate. Tainted Tea also
runs a blog, a comprehensive and interactive site for horror fans and horror creators alike.
